8月3日、高校生の希望者対象英語キャンプHigh School English Camp "Smoothie English"
が始まりました。

今年は、本校のLeon先生、ゲスト講師のBriana先生、Simon先生による
、「スムーズな英語を使えるようになろう！」をコンセプトにしたプログラムです。オー
プニングセレモニーでは、三井教頭先生から「間違いをおそれず、たくさんきいて、たく
さん話そう。」と激励を受け、レオン先生からプログラムの説明をきき、みんなでアイス
ブレイキングとしてゲームをしました。授業では２つのクラスに分かれて、先生の自己紹
介、自然な発音、自然な英語表現、レストランで使う表現など、楽しく学んでいます。参
加者はみな英語に関心の強い人たちで、とても集中してくれています。

On Aug 3, High School English Camp "Smoothie English" started. This year, the program
has the concept to let students speak smooth English by Mr. Leon Lates and the guest
teachers, Ms. Briana and Mr. Simon. During the opening ceremony, our head teacher, Ms.
Mitsui, encouraged students, "Don't be afraid of making mistakes. Listen a lot and talk a
lot." Next, Mr. Leon explained the procedure of the program and organized icebreaking
games for everyone. After that, students are separated into two classes. At each class,
they listened to the teacher's self introduction, learned natural pronunciation, natural
expressions, and useful phrases at restaurants. Everyone is extremely interested in
English, so they enjoy themselves and show brilliant concentration.
